I did purchase Waring Pro Food Slicer (FS150) from FactoryDirect2You.com on August 11, 2005. Once we tried this slicer we found out that it was a very poor design. It is made in China. Slicing metal is very soft. I guess they save money on making very cheap metal. Not just the metal but the total design was wrong. I am an engineer and I can tell you which part of it must be changed. By the way at their homepage they say there is no extra charges for S&H; it is not true! In addition to twice S&H charges, they charged me 10 Dollars overstocking(!!) without my approval. I think this is called "stealing!" When I called them twice their answer was "10% overstocking charges will be applied if you return the product. It was written on the statement!" I beleive online companies begin copying "credit companies!" More and more I experience "legal stealing" done by online companies. I really don't recommend this item or this company. Companies like this one shouldn't be in the business. Please read everything is written before buying. Don't trust their product pictures!
